Medifix

It all started in 1977 from a garage box. Jan Huisman had been working for years at a company that supplied products to the healthcare industry and discovered that you could only buy large units of disposables. Especially for smaller independent care institutions like retirement homes, this was not practical. The idea arose to supply these disposables in small quantities. This turned out to be a great success. The garage box soon became too small and we moved into a beautiful building in Udenhout. This is still the company's base of operations.

In the years that followed, Medifix grew to become a supplier of medical furniture, specializing in storage and distribution of medication, layout of the day treatment room and nursing and hospital beds. In 2022, the 45th anniversary was celebrated.

Medifix manufactures under its own label the Pharmasafe® line. This line includes: medicine and dressing trolleys, medicine and dressing cabinets and medication return boxes. It is also the exclusive distributor of the following brands:

• BMB Medical: (day) treatment chairs and stretchers
• Bytec: Workstation On Wheels
• Malsch: nursing and hospital beds
• Praticima: medicine and dressing trolleys
• Silentia: the hygienic alternative to bed curtains
• MTH Medical: including the well-known MobiDoc

In addition to these exclusive brands, we also supply Insausti medicine and dressing trolleys. Scales of the German brand ADE, air purification systems from BoFlora and the medical solutions of Medical Cart Company.
