Haelvoet offers several reclining mechanisms aimed at ease of use. Ergo-line seats move the back and leg support synchronously and can be infinitely adjusted, while the Classic seats have some fixed positions. The Duo-line mechanism moves asynchronously, allowing back and leg support to be adjusted separately. The E-move version also offers electric adjustability with both synchronous and asynchronous options.

The Mauro seat is polyvalent, offering five wheel types and various reclining mechanisms, making it suitable for any care need. This makes the seat broadly applicable, for example in 'pouching' (skin-to-skin contact with newborn babies). The innovative E-lift mechanism in the ZenSo range offers an easy transition from sitting to standing position and vice versa. This system is extremely safe thanks to the SafeBrake braking system, which activates automatically. The seat can be operated by healthcare personnel or patient with a separate or integrated control.

For example, in AZ Vesalius in Bilzen and Le Bois de la Pierre in Wavre, Avento seats are used. The Avento E-move seats in Bilzen are electrically adjustable to a seat height of 77 cm and equipped with a central brake and directional wheels. A powerful battery can make more than 70 movements before it needs to be recharged. The seats combine many functionalities of a hospital bed, but are more compact and mobile.
