Care & facility: fit for the future

At Zorg & facility (formerly part of the Zorgtotaal trade show) you will see and hear about the latest developments, insights and trends in facility management in the healthcare sector. Zorg & facility will take place from 9 to 11 April 2024 in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht.

At Zorg & facility you will spot the latest innovations and solutions in the areas of security, project design & accommodation, cleaning, clothing & textiles, aids and kitchen equipment.

Central to the exhibition floor is the main stage of the Facility Mainstage, Care Innovators, top healthcare speakers and administrators such as Michael Kortekaas, Jos Nijhof, Eva Eikhout, Carina Hilders, Stephan Versteege and many more! They share their knowledge, vision and inspiring personal stories about current (healthcare) topics. 

The mainstage is dedicated to a changing, current theme for three days.

THE care no longer exists. Every patient
or client must feel at home in a healthcare facility. This cannot be achieved with standard solutions. On April 9, Michiel Kortekaas opens with a session on work happiness, mental resilience and leadership. Jos Nijhof, director of facility services at Martini Hospital, then explains why facility services are an integral part of the primary care process. 

Delivering more care with fewer employees.This is only possible if, as a care worker, you have access to the goods and services you need anytime, anywhere. Eva Eikhout provides the opening of the day. Because of her congenital defect, she cannot do without care and aids. Next, Carina Hilders, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Reinier de Graaf Gasthuis, talks with the chairman of the day, Jaap Jongbloed. 

The environmental burden must also be reduced in healthcare. This applies to buildings and furnishings, but also to cleaning and tools. How do you reduce waste and emissions? And how do you prevent waste? Learn at the Facility Mainstage from healthcare pioneers Niek Sperna Weiland and Talitha Hoppe. They have been committed to green care and less waste inside and outside their own hospitals for years.
