The ambitions are piling up. CO2 emissions must be reduced substantially in the short term, and within sustainability the bar is set high when it comes to circularity. Perhaps even more important is the focus on loneliness and what we have come to call 'positive health'. People are central to everything we do. Even in the design of new buildings. Everything revolves around the care staff, the residents and, last but not least, the visitors. And of course about the task in healthcare real estate to meet future demand.
On many fronts, we are thinking about solutions and working on new ways of thinking to bring everything we care about into healthcare real estate. As every year, IVVD puts a strong focus on solutions and inspiration. The program for the Care Real Estate Day has once again become a rich palette of contributions, from both the world of care itself, and by parties involved with care and care real estate.
IVVD has adjusted the format of the program of the eighth edition of the Care Real Estate Day and introduced new elements. The plenary program includes a table debate and an interview, and each block of breakout sessions includes a workshop. The entire program includes even more time to meet and catch up.
Chaired by chairman of the day Tom van 't Hek, Willem Jan Hanegraaf of Rijnstate will kick off with the hospital of the future: full of smart technology for the best care and completely free of fossil fuels. Then Febo Emmelkamp, chairman of the board of directors of De Westerkim, and Hans Voorberg of ICSzorg will talk about how they put the user at the center of the conception and realization of care housing. After the break, Coen Koenders and Anneke Nijhoff of HevoFame, inspired by Machteld Huber, will discuss the architecture of positive health. This will be followed by a table debate on "the task in healthcare real estate to meet future demand.
After the breakout sessions, Gert Jan Veening, chairman of the Executive Board of Zorggroep Noordwest Veluwe, and Michiel Wijnen of Zenzo Maatschappelijk Vastgoed look back at the Hart van Vathorst after five years with the theme "Towards a socially sustainable living environment - best practices. Roeland Brouns of 's Heeren Loo then looks back on the sustainability of the real estate portfolio. What has been learned? And where do they stand now?
Next, the dynamic investment calendar is discussed. A contribution by Ruben Peeters of Royal HaskoningDHV in which he asks questions such as "What are the challenges in the coming years?" and "How do we make the right decision today? Before the networking drinks, Tom van 't Hek interviews Syntrus Achmea country manager Daan Terrero on the 'stacking of ambitions in relation to an investor's ESG objectives'.
There are two series of three breakout sessions and one workshop from which one can be chosen each time. Very different topics will be covered, which means that congress participants really have a choice. A complete overview of all sessions can be found on the website www.zorgvastgoeddag.nl.
'The omens are favorable that we can simply meet again, without having to consider all kinds of rules. Everyone is ready to meet colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere and catch up against the backdrop of a good substantive program, as people have come to expect from us.'
