HEALTH&CARE will not take place on April 21, 22 & 23

In the context of the international outbreak and spread of COVID-19, the Corona virus, Easyfairs Belgium, the organizer of HEALTH&CARE, is closely monitoring developments, taking into account the opinions and recommendations of the World Health Organization and local authorities. The unpredictable, inevitable, unseen and global scope of the virus also affects the event industry through the potential risk of spreading during events and its impact on public health.

Given the severity of the corona pandemic, the National Security Council announced far-reaching measures to stop the further spread of the virus.

Due to this evolution, which is completely beyond the control of Easyfairs Belgium, we are forced to postpone HEALTH&CARE which would normally take place from April 21-23, 2020 at Flanders Expo, Ghent.

Delay, not postponement because Easyfairs Belgium has decided to HEALTH&CARE, the trade fair for the healthcare sector, to take place at Wednesday 2, Thursday 3 and Friday 4 December 2020 at Flanders Expo.

In this way, we combine HEALTH&CARE with:

• The Hackathon HACK4HEALTH of BlueHealth Innovation Center on Nov. 27, 28 and 29, 202
• Care Innovation Festival INSPIRE HEALTHCARE from In4Care on December 4, 2020

Thus, Easyfairs Belgium, In4care and BlueHealth Innovation Center are creating a set of activities under the motto "Samen Sterk" (Strong Together) that every actor from care and well-being, start-up and entrepreneur, knowledge institution and others cannot miss. So mark the dates in your agenda!

Easyfairs Belgium's main priority during this critical situation that we are closely monitoring is the well-being, health and safety of employees, visitors and exhibitors as well as other external stakeholders.

Moreover, as an organization, we do not want to take any risk, given HEALTH&CARE's precarious target audience. In these exceptional circumstances, HEALTH&CARE does not consider it responsible to bring together a large group of healthcare professionals for several days. The priority of these healthcare professionals now is to maximize their employability in their healthcare facilities and protect their patients, residents and clients.
