MGF invests in Exsta

Investment company MGF is investing in the Waalwijk-based company Exsta, which specializes in creating safe and attractive living environments for clients in care facilities. With MGF on board, Exsta aims to double its turnover towards €15 million in the coming years. With a market penetration of 25% within GGZ and over 40% within mental health care, Exsta is already strongly positioned within the domain of care institutions. Especially in the strongly growing residential elderly care sector and in the Northern Netherlands, the management sees great growth opportunities. Current shareholders Bart Maas and Hans Vermeer will together retain the majority.

About MGF

Den Bosch-based MGF launched its third fund in July. After previous participation in Hobaho and Homeij, Exsta is the third participation in six months. With MGF's participation, management has the opportunity to become 100% shareholders in two steps and thus realize a full Management Buy-Out. This is possible because MGF acquires only minority stakes and the DGA has a right to buy the shares of MGF for an agreed valuation formula. Founded in 2012, MGF has already acquired 27 participations with this unique proposition within the SME sector. The third fund has a target size of €32m and intends to invest that in 10 to 15 growing SMEs.
