New name in healthcare sector: Bloezem

Bloezem focuses on the people who rely on our care

As of Jan. 1, 2025, a new organization will operate in the Dutch healthcare sector: Bloezem. Bloezem offers personal and people-centered care through three care domains: Residential Care, Care at Home and Mental Health Care. With more than 2,500 (care) professionals, 62 residential care locations and 64 care teams, Bloezem is ready to make a difference in people's lives.

Three domains of care, one mission

Bloezem is the result of a number of mergers between several Dutch healthcare organizations. With this pooling of knowledge and experience, Bloezem responds flexibly to the changing needs in the healthcare sector. 

1. Residential care: safe, home-like residential homes where elderly residents with care needs can live the way they are used to, with personal care and attention close at hand. Bloezem Woonzorg is the result of a merger between Living at September, Compartijn, From Hollant andBloemendael.
2. Care at Home: support in their own familiar environment, from district nursing and medical child care to intensive specialty care such as wound and dermatological care, Care for Cancer, youth support, home support and Hospital on Wheels. Bloezem Care at Home evolved from Allerzorg, an organization specializing in care at home.
3. Mental Health Services (mental health): practical counseling, treatment and sheltered housing for people who need support in getting or keeping a grip on their lives. Bloezem Mental Health was formed from a merger between PGZ and Woonzorgnet. Complete People's Work merged with Woonzorgnet last year.
