The 'Grandis E' can be linked and programmed with the Schell water management system SWS to ensure hygienic water quality in the kitchen as well. With the new 'Grandis E' kitchen faucet and the existing product portfolio, all essential water taps in public buildings can be managed by Schell SWS.
In more and more buildings, optimal drinking water safety and hand hygiene are of great importance; so too in communal kitchens and canteens. Thanks to the infrared sensor with preset water temperature, the kitchen faucet can be operated without contact. This avoids the risk of contact infections. The sensor reacts at a distance of about 3 centimeters to hand movements. In this way, the water jet is prevented from accidentally turning on when the user is working in the sink. 'Grandis E' is also equipped with a single-lever control if a continuous flow of water is required.
The new electronic Schell kitchen faucet "Grandis E" can automatically provide the necessary stagnation rinses, for example when a faucet is not used for a long time. It thereby contributes to maintaining the required water quality. The hot and cold water pipes are flushed independently of the position of the faucet.
The integrated automatic stagnation flush activates at set flushing intervals and thus supports the maintenance of drinking water quality. Especially time-saving and convenient is the setting of the faucet with the Schell Water Management System SWS for, among other things, the runtime, flushing quantity and manual adjustment of the sensor. For example, weekdays and times for flushes can also be set via the SWS system. With the application of the SMART.SWS system, it is no longer even necessary to be physically present in the building when one wants to access the faucets. Via the cloud, one gets access to a dashboard and is also enabled to operate the faucets. This can be done via a smartphone, tablet or PC with Internet access.
The new Schell kitchen faucet is easy to assemble and commission thanks to an included installation mounting kit. The maximum angle of rotation of the rotating spout is adjustable so that the user cannot move it over the edge of the single or double sink. This also ensures that the flow of water during hygiene rinses is always directed into the sink, preventing water flooding.
The 'Grandis E' kitchen faucet from Schell features lead- and nickel-free materials, careful workmanship, advanced technology and a smooth, cleaning-friendly chrome surface. This makes it reliable, robust and durable. It is available for 230V mains, battery power or without its own power supply for integration into the Schell Water Management System SWS. ′
