New shower faucet with protection against scalding

Schell, the German manufacturer of sanitary faucets and flushing systems, has launched a new shower faucet with ThermoProtect technology. The faucet effectively protects patients, the elderly and children from being burned by too hot water. 

The normal water temperature of the faucet is 38°C and can be increased - only by pressing the temperature limiter button - to a maximum of 43°C. Even if the cold water supply fails or there are pressure differences in the water supply system, the water never becomes hotter than 43°C. IsoBody technology provides protection against scalding from touching the faucet itself. Due to the thermal decoupling of the pipe and housing, even the faucet itself does not get hot.

The new Modus shower thermostat faucet has an attractive and functional design. The convenient controls and easy readability of the characters make the faucet very user-friendly. Matching sets for a shower fitting and/or a hand shower are available. 

The new shower faucet is part of the Modus family. At the same time as the new shower faucet, two new models of single-lever mixers have been introduced. These too are equipped with the innovative ThermoProtect technology and thermostat. In addition, the Modus series and range of hygienic faucets with electronic, non-contact operation, which prevent the transmission of bacteria and viruses.
