From March 18 to 20, the trade fair Zorgtotaal, the largest platform in the Benelux for healthcare professionals, will take place in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Here you will find a complete range of the latest products, techniques and services for intramural care and home care. Construction & Housing, Project Interior & Furniture and Facilities & Services are important parts of the program.
In addition to a large range of exhibitors, there is an extensive content program full of lectures, demonstrations and simulations. It is also the place to network and learn how other companies and institutions are problem-solving. For example, you can attend sessions on energy-efficient hospitals and a model will be presented that could potentially predict patient well-being by looking at patient room design choices. But there is much more to see and do on the exhibition floor, as the entire spectrum of healthcare is in the spotlight at the Zorgtotaal exhibition.
Live independently longer with the right tools
Current government policy aims to allow people to live independently at home for even longer. This requires necessary adaptations in homes. Zorgtotaal is capitalizing on this development with a wide range of smart, ingenious and ergonomic innovations. From hoists to adapted furniture and small aids; everything to enable people to function independently at home for as long as possible and to offer clients the best possible care.
Move with decentralization
The quality of care is becoming increasingly important, especially in the context of today's decentralization and increasing competition among healthcare institutions. How do you make the distinction? Zorgtotaal not only offers you a helping hand with a wide range of innovative (total) solutions, but also provides you with insight and knowledge about, for example, the transfer of AWBZ care to municipalities. What are the consequences for your organization and you as a professional? How can you provide your client with the best possible care, while continuing to distinguish yourself from the competition? Practical considerations such as cost savings and efficiency are not lost sight of.
Healthcare & ICT
Simultaneously with Zorgtotaal, the trade fair Zorg & ICT, the knowledge platform for human-centered care innovation, will take place in the Jaarbeurs. Here you will find the latest applications in the field of domotics, eHealth, and solutions focused on infrastructure and security. Your entrance badge for Zorgtotaal also gives you access to Zorg & ICT.

Goelst's high-quality curtain rail systems can be found in many areas of healthcare. Among other things, Goelst supplies separation rails, shower rails, window rails and picture rails made of the highest quality aluminum.
Goelst always thinks along the lines of specific healthcare needs. For example, the company now also has a special children's line: KidsRail. These are rails in a variety of colors for use on children's wards.
Customization is Goelst's strength; professional rail bending has been a real specialty for many years. Special options and electric operation are also among the possibilities.
Saving costs with suspension systems from STAS
Suspension systems in healthcare an unnecessary luxury? STAS thinks otherwise. In healthcare facilities, walls are used in abundance for hanging paintings, announcements, maps, clocks, notice boards, coat racks, drawings et cetera.
With STAS multifunctional hanging systems, walls remain undamaged no matter how many times wall objects are changed, moved or renewed. Suspension systems are also easy to use and maintain. A relatively small investment therefore results in substantial cost savings and is in line with sustainable building management.
Our experienced staff will be happy to tell you about the advantages of STAS products at booth 09.D057 at the Zorgtotaal fair in Utrecht.
Engels Logistiek BV supplies a wide range of roll containers available from stock in various colors. In addition, particularly in the healthcare sector, Engels supplies roll containers specifically tailored to the wishes and requirements of the user and the sector. The delivery of new roll containers to the MUMC, formerly the Academic Hospital Maastricht, is an example of this.
The intensive use of electric tractors over indoor and outdoor areas combined with the requirements for hygiene and working conditions prompted the search for a robust weather and wash-resistant, quiet and smooth-running container. By listening carefully to the wishes of the logistics and nursing staff, a design was arrived at in cooperation with the technical department that met all requirements.
Low maintenance costs
For example, the container is mounted on a fully galvanized steel frame, to which the ball-bearing, stripless wheels and the tie rod system are attached. In this way, no (tensile) forces occur on the plastic body of the container during driving, which significantly extends its service life. The low maintenance costs result in substantial cost savings and, above all, a better calling card for the hospital.
We would be happy to inform you about the specifications and possibilities so that your healthcare facility is also ready for the future.
