DELABIE unveils the latest design from its collection of basin and sink faucets with fixed and/or swivel high spouts. Available in different models, the faucets are designed to respond to the issues of hygiene, safety and comfort in healthcare facilities.
DELABIE's new range of high-spout mixers is designed to minimize the volume of stagnant water to limit biofilm attachment. Biofilm is a layer of microorganisms surrounded by self-produced slime that adheres to a surface. The advantage of this new range of faucets is that all internal parts - including the spout - are completely smooth, significantly reducing the risk of bacterial growth.
The new range of high spout mixers is available in different models. DELABIE offers mechanical mixers with a classic ceramic interior or with a ceramic pressure compensating interior. These are equipped with a locked temperature limitation. The user cannot undo the limitation, which reduces the risk of burns.
The models with pressure compensation are additionally equipped with the SECURITHERM EP technology: in the event that the cold water supply is interrupted, the hot water flow rate is reduced in such a way as to eliminate the risk of burns to the user. In the event that the hot water supply is interrupted, the cold water flow rate will also be reduced.
The new design of these high-spout mixers also allows thermal flushes at the network hot water temperature. This is possible by pressing the small red button on the back of the handle.
DELABIE high-spout mixers are designed to reduce temperature fluctuations in case of pressure fluctuations in the network. The models with pressure compensation absorb pressure fluctuations between cold and hot water so that water is delivered in a perfect stable temperature.
The new mixers are available with a spout height of H.165 millimeters, H.205 millimeters or H.305 millimeters and a spout length of L.140 millimeters, L.170 millimeters or L.250 millimeters. This makes it easier to wash hands and avoid the risk of re-contamination with bacteria due to splashing water on the spout. The higher spout also allows the installation of end filters for preventive purposes. Moreover, these faucets are specifically designed with a long ergonomic handle to meet the needs of caregivers, seniors and/or persons with limited mobility. Operation is done without manual contact, via the wrist, forearm or elbow.
The range is offered in different spout heights and lengths to provide optimal comfort. The design of these faucets contributes to patient safety and helps in the fight against healthcare-associated infections. The warranty is ten years.
