The clients of Sonnevanck benefit from a quiet and low stimulation interior. Sales manager Joost Graat of Vervoort Meubelen realized the interior in cooperation with Zorgbalans and interior designer Amy Roovers.
"In the living rooms, a nice environment has been created with minimal resources. For example, each living room has a small, custom-made house, where clients can retreat and feel secure," he says. "Weighted, sturdy and behavior-resistant furniture was chosen, which cannot be moved or lifted. In addition to the rooms for the clients, we also fitted the studios, hallways, meeting and staff areas with furniture, wall finishes and window coverings."
An image of a tree line was extended from the first floor to the second floor. "This served as inspiration for the color palette for each floor. The first floor was given green as an accent color because of the grassland, the second floor yellow because of the sun shining through the leaves and the second floor blue accents because of the tops of the trees against the blue sky. This particular project shows that some interior design concepts do not always consist of distinct colors and materials, but prefer simplicity and minimalism."
