That a whole is more than the sum of its parts is evident at Tilburg-based SRBA. A new name, but certainly not a new player in the field of turnkey construction of cleanrooms, sterilization rooms and BSL facilities in the healthcare market, among others. The merger of Brecon and Muller Afbouw Groep (MAG) offers the opportunity not only to furnish, but also to develop and realize complete office, laboratory and clean room facilities.
"Our combined experience in the clean room and lab space market already counts some 30 years," says Jérôme Gullit, Sales Manager at SRBA. "Previously, we entered into a distributorship with the Polish company ALVO Medical, making our furnishing offer even more complete. Nevertheless, we wanted to expand our market even further and fully serve our customers. Therefore, in early 2023, we combined the expertise of Brecon and MAG into a new company, SRBA, which stands for Smart and Reliable Building Achievements. We can now think along in the design phase of ORs and clinics, but also design, build and fully furnish the various spaces. We offer the complete package and take care of everything. We all reap the benefits of that."
The company recently took an important step in providing information to all those involved in the process. To make things go faster and smoother, SRBA introduced QR-LINK in its BIM model. Robert de Wolff, Sales Manager at SRBA CE explains, "QR-LINK is a new online system with which we provide our product information integrally. In it, all documents can be found. The great advantage is that all those involved in the realization and use of a cleanroom or laboratory facility, such as architects and engineering firms, have up-to-date insight into BIM." For example, all information of a specific door can be retrieved. "The QR code on that door provides instant access to the intellectual properties, including PDS sheets, detail drawings, test reports and maintenance and cleaning instructions. Using QR codes is user-friendly and provides content quickly and clearly. The program makes the information needed in the construction process accessible to everyone, thus ensuring rapid development of the cleanroom concept, resulting in better control of quality, time and money."
Since its inception, SRBA has been working hard to increase brand awareness and thus strengthen its market position. Gullit: "We are exploring our market, have developed new brochures and are going old school to make our expertise known to clinics, engineering firms and also to hospitals. Right now, we are focusing particularly on (private) clinics."
The young company is absolutely knowledgeable and experienced. Because of the amalgamation, there is no missing link. "We can take the complete care out of your hands, when it comes to pharmacy rooms, laboratories, BSL, CSA, complete clinics and eventually hospitals. Thanks to our experience, we are able to find a solution to the various challenges throughout the process each time. We develop, realize and furnish. We search together for the best possible, flexible and most sustainable solution, so that the whole is future-proof. Thus, together with our sister companies within the SRBA Group, we can deliver a complete construction with furnishing turnkey."
