Wall protections with attention to health and well-being

The idea behind "healing environments" is that the clinical atmosphere in hospitals, for example, gives way to a care environment that helps patients recover more quickly and promotes the well-being of both patients and caregivers. The use of colors and materials on walls and floors is of great importance here, as it not only determines the aesthetics of the space, but also affects the emotional and psychological state of those present. Within this concept, wall protection also plays an important role, with M-Wall's products proving themselves to be trendsetters. M-Wall offers a wide range of products that not only protect against damage, but also contribute to the aesthetics of the space. The products are designed specifically for the healthcare industry and perfectly match the requirements of a "healing environment. One of the biggest advantages of M-Wall wall protection is its durability. The materials are resistant to impacts, scratches and other forms of wear and tear common in healthcare facilities. Not only is this cost-effective, it also contributes to hygiene. In fact, damaged walls can be difficult to clean, which increases the chances of bacteria spreading. 

At the basis of M-Wall Hygienic, M-Wall Protect and M-Wall Basic is an impact and scratch-resistant plastic panel with a fine surface structure, which looks calm and is fully supportive of its surroundings. Thanks to a thickness of only 2 mm, a flush connection to the floor covering is ensured.

All panels from the collections can be provided with a print of your choice and coated with a special scratch-resistant coating. The application of an M-Wall Gecko foil is also possible, where the desired image is printed on a foil. This foil can be pasted over the various wall protection panels in the collection. The M-Wall Gecko foil has the advantage that it also adheres perfectly to other substrates, such as on doors and glass, for example, allowing meters-long prints to continue without major interruptions. In addition, the image can be easily replaced when room features or customer requirements change. 

M-Wall offers a range of colors, patterns and finishes that can be tailored to the specific needs of a space. In addition to the standard (stock) collection with as many as 46 different colors, divided into 3 collections, it is also possible to produce from small quantities in any desired color and size. All this means that healthcare facilities have the opportunity to create spaces that are both soothing and attractive, promoting the well-being of patients and staff. 

With M-Wall Hygienic, M-Wall Protect and M-Wall Basic, M-Wall offers a solution for every room and every project requirement. The wall finishes are frequently used in patient rooms, where they serve as paneling or wall-high wall cladding, bed back wall, bumper, kick plate, door protection and/or corner protection. But the products are also very suitable for skirting and/or door plates. M-Wall Hygienic is also increasingly used in wet rooms (showers), where hygiene and simple and quick maintenance play an important role. All products are easy to keep clean, which of course contributes to a clean and hygienic environment - a crucial factor in any healthcare facility.

Specific detailing of, for example, pass-through cabinets, washing and sterilization equipment or monitor niches is easy to detail, and M-Wall does not shy away from special designs either. In the Eindhoven workshop, corners and curves can be perfectly thermoformed, reducing the number of seams to a minimum and making loose corner protectors a thing of the past. The seams that remain are always finished in the same color as the M-Wall wall covering. In this way, intended designs reach their full potential and create very clean and close-fitting designs, which employees and patients are naturally more cautious of. 

Soon M-Wall will start a new project for the Radboudumc, in which wall coverings with rounded corners in a radius of 100 will provide pleasant softening. It is also in talks with a hospital that wants to print its new bed rear walls with an appealing floral motif.
